📋 Description

• Lead and grow a Backend and Data team powering Roblox’s Homepage and Discovery surfaces.
• Define technical roadmap for large-scale content discovery, personalization, ranking, data, and
• Drive initiatives like Personalization-as-a-Platform and real-time user signal infrastructure.
• Collaborate with ML, Data Science, Product, Design, Frontend, Ads, Marketplace, Economy, and more
• Build an engineering culture focused on reliability, experimentation, and talent development.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years as Engineering Manager or Tech Lead Manager, backend/data/ranking/personalization focus
• Strong depth in distributed systems and high-throughput backends
• Experience leading large-scale consumer-facing systems
• Track record delivering cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact
• Experience growing engineers and building high-performing teams
