📋 Description
- Platform and customer-facing role focusing on complex, high-stakes technical engagements.
- Build and operate managed infrastructure for Honeycomb’s largest customers.
- Provide technical leadership to unblock deals, create tooling, and guide architecture decisions.
- Operate beyond traditional support, owning runbooks and enabling scale through automation.
- Work across multi-region AWS environments and internal platforms to support customers.
🎯 Requirements
- 9+ years in engineering, SRE, infrastructure, DevOps, or equivalent with Staff-level impact.
- Deep Kubernetes (EKS preferred) production experience at scale.
- Strong AWS expertise (EC2, EKS, ECS, ALB/NLB, VPC, PrivateLink, IAM, S3, Route53) and multi-account
- Proven senior incident command experience and postmortem improvements.
- Infrastructure as Code mastery (Terraform, Helm, Chef, Ansible).
- Deep observability experience: logging, tracing, metrics, SLOs/SLIs, instrumentation lifecycle.
