Assistant Controller

📋 Description

• Financial reporting support for GAAP-compliant statements
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Oversee accounting operations: GL reconciliations, AP/AR, journal entries
• Assist with nuclear services segment reporting and project/job cost accounting
• Coordinate internal/external audits and strengthen internal controls

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 6–8+ years progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting expertise
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel
• Experience in revenue recognition and controls in a growing environment
• Audit coordination experience; Big 4 exposure is a plus
