Director - Accounting & Compliance

📋 Description

• Lead India finance function: accounting, statutory, tax, payroll support, treasury, governance
• Own month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, consolidation
• Transition outsourced finance to in-house India operation
• Define roles, processes, controls, governance for transition
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, India statutes, Companies Act
• Coordinate audits, ROC filings, tax registrations, regulatory filings

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years accounting experience; close & reporting across multiple disciplines
• 5+ years people leadership
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and India statutory accounting; IFRS a plus
• Experience with international subsidiaries and consolidation
• Strong treasury experience; multi-currency operations
• GST, corporate tax coordination, TDS, payroll compliance
