Lab Analyst I

📋 Description

• Prepare and analyze samples per SGS SOPs using dept instrumentation
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments
• Assist with investigations and client inquiries, CARs
• Input and maintain technical information to support lab ops
• Maintain Laboratory Notebook and follow internal standards
• Conduct specified analyses (asbestos, PLM, PCM) per procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Associate Degree in Geology or similar, 0-2 years, or 3 years in relevant
• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or similar, 1-2 years in Geology Labs (preferred)
• Basic math and reasoning skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• GCMS and Organics methods experience (preferred)
• Experience with LIMS (preferred)
