📋 Description

• Set the strategic direction for actuarial science and translate business objectives into actionable
• Lead pricing, forecasting, month-end close, performance monitoring, financial experience analysis
• Develop and oversee statistical and financial models supporting bid pricing, financial projections
• Lead, develop, mentor, and motivate a team of actuaries and analysts while ensuring adherence to
• Establish accountability across internal stakeholders for actuarial inputs and assumptions used
• Oversee the integrity and completion of applicable federal and state rate filings and provide

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of actuarial, financial analysis, or decision-support experience, with healthcare
• At least 5 years of management experience, preferably leading actuarial teams and developing
• ASA designation required; FSA preferred.
• Strong expertise in actuarial modeling, pricing, forecasting, financial analysis, trend evaluation
• Advanced knowledge of data and analytical tools such as SQL, SAS, R, or other data manipulation
