📋 Description
- Set the strategic direction for actuarial science and translate business objectives into actionable
- Lead pricing, forecasting, month-end close, performance monitoring, financial experience analysis
- Develop and oversee statistical and financial models supporting bid pricing, financial projections
- Lead, develop, mentor, and motivate a team of actuaries and analysts while ensuring adherence to
- Establish accountability across internal stakeholders for actuarial inputs and assumptions used
- Oversee the integrity and completion of applicable federal and state rate filings and provide
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of actuarial, financial analysis, or decision-support experience, with healthcare
- At least 5 years of management experience, preferably leading actuarial teams and developing
- ASA designation required; FSA preferred.
- Strong expertise in actuarial modeling, pricing, forecasting, financial analysis, trend evaluation
- Advanced knowledge of data and analytical tools such as SQL, SAS, R, or other data manipulation
