Senior Seating and Restraints Architecture Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead concept and architecture development for seating systems for ride-hailing vehicles
• Benchmark ergonomics and occupant accommodation to ensure class-leading comfort
• Optimize ingress/egress for diverse demographics across cabin topologies
• Lead restraint concepts to enable unique cabin configurations
• Support user clinics to optimize seat and restraint comfort
• Collaborate with OEMs, suppliers, and Waymo Product/ID teams

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in automotive seating and restraints concept development
• Experience with seating comfort assessment using subjective and objective methods
• Knowledge of FMVSS, ECE, NCAP, IIHS protocols
• Proficient with RAMSIS, CAVA, and Catia CAD tools
• Ability to negotiate targets/requirements with OEMs and suppliers
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with cross-functional teams
