Director, Data & AI (Hybrid)

📋 Description

• Lead Data Engineering, Data & ML Platform, Data Science, and Applied AI teams (20+ people).
• Set technical vision and roadmap for data as a product to drive customer outcomes.
• Oversee data platform reliability, scalability, and governance (Databricks, Unity Catalog, Airflow
• Accelerate AI/ML in product; own MLOps from experimentation to production.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and GTM leadership to accelerate growth.
• Hire, develop, and retain top data/AI talent; foster a culture of velocity and craft excellence.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in data and/or AI/ML with 5+ years leading teams.
• Director-level leadership experience; proven ability to scale orgs.
• Deep fluency with modern data stack (Databricks, Snowflake, Unity Catalog, Airflow, dbt) and
• Strong product instincts and ability to translate technical work into business impact.
• AI-first mindset; experience shipping AI-powered products and AI tooling.
• Excellent communication; able to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
