📋 Description
- Lead dbt community strategy and digital engagement, primarily managing the dbt Slack community.
- Cultivate a welcoming, high-signal space for data practitioners to connect, learn, and collaborate.
- Partner with internal teams to strengthen member experience, participation, and insights.
🎯 Requirements
- 5+ years in digital community management or related roles in global/distributed settings.
- Experience owning day-to-day operations for large online communities (Slack/Discord/forum).
- Strong understanding of online community dynamics, trust, belonging, and scale.
- Experience building moderation/workflows, including Code of Conduct enforcement.
- Excellent written communication and facilitation; ability to de-escalate and foster productive
- Experience using community tooling and analytics to track engagement and drive improvements.
