Senior Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Define and guide platform architecture strategies for AWS environments.
• Treat the platform as a product with reference architectures and self-service capabilities.
• Design and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, GitOps, ArgoCD/Flux.
• Implement progressive delivery with canary/blue-green via Flagger and SLO-based rollback.
• Manage Kubernetes/EKS with Karpenter, HPA, and KEDA for scalable workloads.
• Establish observability with OpenTelemetry, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus; define SLIs/SLOs.

🎯 Requirements

• Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive software experience with Java (Spring Boot), TypeScript and/or Python.
• Distributed systems, DDD, microservices, high availability and performance.
• Strong Bazel knowledge.
• Expert AWS experience (EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, networking, security).
• Terraform (modules/policy), Pulumi, multi-language stacks.
