📋 Description

• The Insurance Specialist II acts as the primary point of contact for Health Care Providers (HCPs)
• Expert in insurance, prior authorizations, customer service, and alternate funding options.
• Provide explanations of patients’ benefits, financial assistance, and access questions.
• Enable productivity of the access team by providing insurance intelligence access.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; degree preferred.
• 2-4 years in healthcare or reimbursement; call center/healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial/government insurance, prior authorizations, and appeals.
• Experience with Medicare Part D, Medicaid, private payers, and pharmacy/medical benefits.
• Strong written/verbal communication; detail-oriented; team-oriented.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
