Director of Software Engineering - DESG

📋 Description

• Lead software development teams across CHEMCAD, Flow Simulation, and GoldSim.
• Oversee technical direction and development operations for DESG products.
• Establish and continuously improve development practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, code
• Define and drive AI adoption strategy within DESG products and engineering workflows.
• Partner with Product Management, R&D, and Strategy to align development with customer value and
• Mentor engineers, grow technical leaders, and build a high-performing engineering organization.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development, including 3+ years in engineering management or
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture, modularization, service decomposition, and
• Experience scaling engineering teams, especially across multiple products or acquisitions.
• Proven ability to define and lead development practices, tooling, and metrics to improve
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with product, R&D, and cross-functional teams.
