Lead Site Reliability Engineer

📋 Description

• Define strategy, architecture, and roadmap for Mattermost’s SRE function.
• Lead design, deployment, and optimization of containerized workloads and compliant cloud
• Establish observability, monitoring, and alerting frameworks at scale.
• Drive incident management, on-call rotations, and root cause analysis.
• Partner with security/compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
• Mentor SREs and drive automation and operational excellence.

🎯 Requirements

• BS in CS/Cybersecurity/SE or equivalent; 5+ years in SRE/DevOps/cloud infra.
• Proven Kubernetes experience; IaC (Terraform).
• Strong cloud experience, ideally AWS.
• Experience with monitoring/alerting and performance optimization.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
• Automation scripting/programming proficiency; excellent cross-functional communication.
