Principal Software Engineer — Backend & Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Own the architecture for real-time data processing at scale.
• Build the ML platform for training and serving infrastructure.
• Scale GPU infrastructure: capacity planning and utilization.
• Scale inference: batching, quantization, autoscaling, caching.
• Ensure reliability: uptime, observability, incident response.
• Translate business problems into technical plans.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years building backend and infrastructure systems.
• Large-scale databases, high-throughput messaging, real-time queues.
• Navigate large codebases and reason about architectural tradeoffs.
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and driving technical decisions.
• Strong written communication across time zones and teams.
• BTech/MTech/PhD in CS or equivalent.
