Staff AI Cloud Engineer

📋 Description

• Define and evolve architecture, standards, and practices across multiple teams.
• Partner with Engineering Managers and leads on complex system-design decisions.
• Lead designs, RFCs, reviews, and critical code walkthroughs.
• Build and ship AI, backend, distributed, and cloud-ready systems.
• Operate AI capabilities: foundation models, inference, retrieval, orchestration, monitoring
• Improve CI/CD, testing, observability, reliability, security, and developer experience.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in software architecture/engineering or similar leadership.
• Experience as founding engineer or scaling organization tech.
• Proven ability to influence multiple teams without formal authority.
• Design, build, deploy and operate production-grade systems at scale.
• Deep expertise in AI, backend/distributed systems, cloud, and infra.
• Practical AI knowledge: foundation models, inference, retrieval, orchestration, evaluation
