Manager – Credit Strategy & Operations

📋 Description

• Own acquisition credit strategy end-to-end: who we approve, how much credit, pricing, product
• Be a thought partner: collaborate with Product, Commercial, Growth, Engineering, and Finance to
• Build and run the monitoring and learning loop: dashboards, controls, experiments, and corrective
• Lead fraud and data verification strategy and ops team: SOPs, incentives, performance management
• Spend regular time in the field: meet farmers and agents to improve Apollo’s credit offering.
• Coach and develop the team: accountability, resilience, and future leaders.

🎯 Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in credit, risk, strategy, analytics, or product roles.
• Structured, first-principles problem solving used to turn ambiguous problems into shipped policies.
• Exceptional analytical ability, including SQL and dashboards.
• Experience collaborating across functions, influencing and leading in fast-paced environments.
• Real appetite for time in the field with the farmers we serve (Nairobi-based or willing to travel).
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and AI-assisted workflows.
