Staff Aerostructures Design Engineer (R5160)

📋 Description

• Design and develop structural components for UAV platform
• Execute design lifecycle: concept to release
• Perform hand calculations; limited basic FEA
• Collaborate with aero, propulsion, avionics, payload, manufacturing
• Support structural validation: coupon/system tests
• Create design docs, drawings, interface definitions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical/Aerospace Eng
• 8+ years in aircraft structural design
• Experience releasing structures in development/production
• Know composites and metallic structures, fasteners, bonded joints
• CAD tools: NX, CATIA, SolidWorks
• GD&T, tolerance stackups, DFMA
