Aerostructures Design Engineer II (R4953)

📋 Description

• Design and develop structural components for next-gen UAV platform
• Collaborate across aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, payload, and manufacturing
• Support hardware through testing and deployment
• Produce design documentation and drawings per aerospace standards
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
• Improve structural layout, joints, tolerancing and optimization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
• 2+ years in aircraft structural design
• Experience releasing structural components in development/production
• Knowledge of composite and metallic structures, fasteners, joins, load paths
• CAD tools: NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar
• GD&T, tolerance stackups, DFMA
