📋 Description

• Lead AI Engineering at Hex to accelerate product and company using frontier AI tech
• Define and implement the AI Engineering function as the company scales
• Hire and mentor AI Engineers and build a world-class team
• Support developer and research experiences for teams working with AI tech
• Deliver high-performing shared AI infrastructure, including search systems

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of people management experience
• Deep familiarity with modern AI tech and classical ML systems
• Experience with LLMs, transformer models, agentic workflows, context management, agentic evals
• Proven ability to drive business outcomes and deliver customer value
• Rigorous yet pragmatic with experimental design and early-stage agility
• Strong communication and collaboration across roles/teams
