Senior Analytics Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the Gold data layer for a business domain, designing/maintaining dimensional models used by
• Define canonical business logic behind core KPIs to resolve “this number doesn’t match” disputes.
• Build and curate semantic layers and metric definitions enabling self-serve data access.
• Own the domain metric dictionary and data contracts with data quality and observability ownership.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering to scale datasets and improve data quality.
• Partner with Horizontal Data Engineering on inputs to ensure data freshness and reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar role with ownership of data models.
• Advanced SQL and strong data modeling: dimensional modeling, star/snowflake, SCDs, semantic layer
• Hands-on with dbt (or equivalent), orchestration (Airflow), Git, and modern warehouses/lakehouses
• Experience with data quality testing, observability, data contracts, and performance/cost tuning.
• Domain fluency in at least one area (e.g., PLG funnels, marketing attribution, revenue) and strong
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and ability to explain technical tradeoffs to
