📋 Description
- Manage key accounting functions supporting financial operations and compliance
- Own payroll accounting, state tax compliance, revenue recognition, grant accounting
- Co-own general ledger and month-end close process
🎯 Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Experience with payroll accounting and multi-state payroll tax compliance
- Experience with revenue recognition principles (ASC 606)
- Experience preparing account reconciliations and journal entries
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
