Senior Controls Engineer, Electrical & Instrumentation

📋 Description

• Design, development, and deployment of industrial control systems for Form Energy's Iron-Air
• LeadElectrical & Instrumentation projects, coordinating with Automation, Robotics & Vision
• Mentor less experienced controls engineers and provide on-site troubleshooting during operations.
• Escalate issues from sustaining team and support production ops, maintenance, and safety concerns.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors and perform FATs/SATs per standards.
• Develop electrical schematics and integrate with PLCs, vision, SCADA, and MES.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Eng, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 6+ years in industrial control systems in high-volume manufacturing.
• Advanced PLC skills: Siemens TIA-Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000.
• Experience with SCADA/HMI: Ignition Perspective, Siemens WinCC, Rockwell FTView.
• Functional safety: ProfiSafe, CIP Safety.
• Reading/interpreting electrical schematics; data tools (iba, Octoplant).
