DVM Student Externship/Preceptorship Program — Founders Green Animal Hospital

📋 Description Externs experience the typical caseload of a small animal practice under mentor supervision. Assist in patient care, gather histories, perform exams, develop plans, scrub in to surgery. Support wellness care, client communication, and medical record documentation (SOAPs). Participate in all aspects of patient care within the time limits of daily practice. Externship duration ranges from two to eight weeks, typically two or three weeks, with flexible 🎯 Requirements Be enrolled in an accredited DVM program. You are authorized to work in the United States. You must carry professional liability insurance (AVMA PLIT) and submit certificate of coverage with 🎁 Benefits Stipend of $250 per week provided.
