Low-level Senior Software Engineer, Xet Storage

📋 Description Design, develop, and maintain high-performance storage systems & backend infrastructure. Build and improve low-level systems software for large-scale data storage and retrieval. Contribute to open-source projects written in Rust powering AI workflows. Develop features within storage architecture focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance. Solve complex challenges in distributed systems, data management, and infra operations. Operate production systems with monitoring, observability, reliability, and fault tolerance. 🎯 Requirements 8+ years of experience building and scaling distributed systems, storage platforms, or networking infrastructure. Strong proficiency in a low-level language; Rust experience strongly preferred. Experience with systems programming and designing reliable, high-performance software. Proven ability to independently own complex projects in a high-trust, low-process environment. Experience with large-scale production systems and solving infra challenges.
