📋 Description Lead and define architectural vision for the SiS platform across container/runtime layers and Drive evolution toward next-gen capabilities, performance at scale, and integration with Snowflake Represent SiS in company-wide architecture forums and shape platform strategy. Set engineering standards for performance, reliability, and scale for high-concurrency use. Lead technical design and review for cross-functional initiatives with infra, Snowsight, Cortex/AI Hands-on contributor: write specs, implement changes, review PRs, ensure API design quality. 🎯 Requirements 15+ years of software engineering experience with architecting dev platforms or runtimes. Deep Python expertise (application runtimes, server-side frameworks, distributed execution). Strong understanding of container environments (Docker, Kubernetes, SPCS) and performance tradeoffs. Experience designing developer-facing SDKs, embedding APIs, and API versioning. Ability to lead cross-team programs and drive alignment without direct authority. Enterprise SaaS reliability experience: multi-tenancy, security reviews, migrations. 🎁 Benefits Competitive compensation: $250K – $380K per year (USD). Hybrid work arrangement in the United States.
