Job Description
📋 Description Hands-on assembly of ground support equipment, prototypes, and flight hardware. Design and develop production workspaces, tooling, and inventory for builds. Maintain lab organization, tooling readiness, stock levels, and safety compliance. Create, update, and refine work instructions, build docs, and configuration tracking. Support outsourced manufacturing: kit prep, handoff, on-site builds, post-build reviews. Collaborate with engineers on design-for-manufacturability and design-for-assembly. 🎯 Requirements Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Eng. Hands-on experience building or assembling mechanical/electromechanical systems. Comfortable with standard mechanical tools, shop equipment, and basic metrology. Familiar with CAD software SolidWorks, CREO, or Onshape. Exposure to machining, 3D printing, sheet metal, and PCB assembly.
