Senior iOS Engineer, Media Foundations - BeReal

📋 Description Design, build, and maintain high-performance camera and video features on iOS. Own AVFoundation stack: capture sessions, devices, formats, frame rates. Build and optimize real-time image and video processing pipelines. Improve capture quality, latency, stability, and cross-model performance. Work on multi-camera flows, front/back video composition, encoding, and export. Optimize CPU, GPU, memory, battery usage, thermal behavior, multithreading. 🎯 Requirements 6+ years iOS experience with camera/video features. Deep AVFoundation expertise: AVCaptureSession, devices, formats, frame rates, exposure. Real-time camera/video pipelines design and optimization; media formats, encoding, buffers. Strong performance mindset: CPU/GPU usage, memory, battery, thermal, multithreading. Proficient with iOS profiling tools: Instruments, Time Profiler, Allocations. Strong Swift skills; experience with Metal or Core Image is a plus.
