Head of Electrical Engineering

📋 Description Lead Electrical Engineering across full asset lifecycle: development, EPC, commissioning, ops Establish and maintain engineering standards, design criteria, and governance across fleet and pipeline Oversee electrical system design for new projects: substations, collectors, interconnection, protection Provide technical oversight to Asset Management and Operations to improve performance and reliability Own grid compliance strategy; ensure ISO/RTO, NERC, and utility adherence Support interconnection strategies, upgrades, repowering, and capacity expansions Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering; advanced degree preferred 10+ years in power systems with utility-scale renewables 5+ years leadership in IPP/utility/large developer Experience supporting both project execution and operating asset portfolios Expertise in high-voltage systems (69–500 kV), substations, interconnection Familiar with NA grid operators (PJM, MISO, ERCOT, CAISO) and NERC 🎁 Benefits Mission-driven, energetic environment that supports your best work Respect for individuality, differences, and uniqueness Collaborative team supporting ideas, feedback, and growth Ongoing on-the-job learning, hands-on experience, and mentorship Training and tools to support personal and professional growth Diverse team making an impact as an organization
