Thermal & Harness AIT Engineer

📋 Description Assemble, route, and secure complex satellite electrical harnesses with EMI/EMC grounding. Install and verify Multi-Layer Insulation (MLI) and thermal protection systems to spec Conduct alignment, installation, and verification of mechanical and thermal hardware Act as primary contact for issues during harness routing and thermal assembly Collaborate with EMI/EMC teams to optimize routing and shielding against interference Identify process issues and drive continuous improvement of thermal/harness workflows (DFM/DFT) 🎯 Requirements 5+ years hands-on experience in spacecraft hardware development, integration, testing, or production Deep knowledge of harness manufacturing, routing standards, and thermal materials (MLI) Familiarity with integration, verification, ramp-up, and configuration management Fundamental EMI/EMC principles for aerospace cabling and harness design Systems engineering mindset across mechanical, thermal, and electrical interfaces DFM/DFT experience; ECSS/IPC familiarity 🎁 Benefits Health and wellbeing benefits vary by location Opportunities for continuous professional development and training Collaborative, inclusive team culture
