Senior Electric Propulsion Engineer

📋 Description Lead HET propulsion subsystem architecture and trade-offs. Define requirements and interfaces with avionics, mechanical, thermal, GNC. Model HET behavior: plasma, plume, thermal, contamination. Characterize propulsion performance (thrust, Isp, efficiency) on ground and flight. Design and operate ground test facilities and safety controls. Define qualification and production-readiness criteria for flight builds. 🎯 Requirements MSc or PhD in Aerospace, Plasma, Electrical Eng, or related. 6+ years experience with electric propulsion systems (Hall thrusters). Strong foundation in plasma physics, propulsion modeling, system integration. Experience designing propulsion power systems and PPUs, HV architectures. Proficiency with analytical tools: COMSOL, ANSYS, SPIS, MATLAB.
