📋 Description Design and develop wiring harness assemblies with Mechanical, Electrical, and Systems Eng teams Create and release wiring harness docs: drawings, schematics, routing diagrams Perform wire sizing, routing constraints, bend radius, and strain relief analyses Support harness architecture with guidance from senior engineers, routing through complex assemblies DFM focus with Manufacturing and Supplier Engineering Hands-on prototyping and assembly of wiring harnesses using standard lab tools 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years relevant experience 3+ years engineering experience, including 1+ years wiring harness design Working knowledge of electrical fundamentals for harness design: current, grounding, shielding Strong mechanical design fundamentals, materials, tolerances, and DFM Understanding harness integration: routing, strain relief, packaging constraints Experience using CAD tools (SolidWorks) and harness drawings (BOMs, wire lists)
