📋 Description Lead product data storage decisions and migrations at scale. Be the go-to for which database should this live in and access patterns. Build reusable primitives: data-sync tooling, ORM patterns, and schema/index reviews. Expand the product-data platform toward caching, search, and event streaming. 100% remote role; US/Canada/Mexico/Colombia-based. 🎯 Requirements Hands-on experience with databases inside the product; OLTP, indexing, queries, and schema design. Comfortable writing code in the product stack and reasoning at the database layer. Deep expertise with PostgreSQL in high-volume production; MongoDB → Postgres migration a plus. Expertise in schema design, indexing, query optimization, and zero-downtime migrations. Experience scaling systems through significant traffic and data growth; understands access patterns at scale. Strong software engineering ability; writes, reviews, and ships production code.
