📋 Description Hands-on Video Encoding Engineer to join IP Video Engineering. Own tasks in encoding workflows, system setup, and video quality. Independent contributor thriving in a fast-paced environment. On-site W-2 hourly role with a 9-12 month engagement. Hourly rate: $62-$67; compensation based on experience. Limited benefits: 401(k) match, health insurance, development programs. 🎯 Requirements Strong Linux administration: install software, configure systems, troubleshoot. Experience with video encoding technologies (HEVC required; others a plus). Familiarity with IP video delivery concepts and multicast networking. Experience with VMAF and SIMMWAVE preferred. Ability to connect encoders to packagers and troubleshoot workflows.
