Localization Engineer

📋 Description Analyze websites and apps for localization potential and time/material needs Automate analysis, file parsing and filtering; other related tasks Re-engineer components for localization adjustments; write scripts as needed Ensure compliance with client requirements and data integrity Coordinate with PM, art, sales and customers; assist pre-sale planning Provide production and sales management support 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s Degree + 2+ years in a related field Strong knowledge of VB, VBA, C++, Perl, ASP, Java, JSP; XML/HTML/XLIFF Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet software Knowledge of Translation Memory Tools: Wordfast, Trados, Déjà vu, SDLX Knowledge of Software Localization tools: Catalyst, Passolo, Silk Knowledge of Windows, Mac and Solaris platforms 🎁 Benefits Medical, dental and vision coverage 401k retirement plan Paid time off Company-sponsored life insurance Short-term and long-term disability Flexible spending accounts
