📋 Description Act as software lead for a novel surgical robotic platform. Define software architecture and implementation for a new surgical system. Lead cross-functional teams from requirements to early feasibility and clearance. Architect modular, testable software interfacing hardware and systems. Perform design, development, and verification of embedded software and state machines. Contribute to software across distributed multi-processor systems (video, servo, IPC, UI). 🎯 Requirements Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or similar technical field. Minimum 12 years of embedded systems development experience (or 8 years with a Master’s, or 5 years with a PhD). Proficient in C++ or C for mission-critical cross-platform embedded real-time systems (QNX). Proficient with embedded compute architectures, development/testing methodologies, and hardware debugging. Proficient with TCP/IP, CAN, and serialization protocols; memory management and concurrency. Hands-on Python or scripting for automation, diagnostics, and testing.
