Mechanical Designer

📋 Description Develop detailed 3D SolidWorks models and assemblies from sketches and specs. Create fully populated assemblies to support production docs and downstream manufacturing. Apply GD&T to drawings and models to ensure clarity and manufacturability. Collaborate with engineers to translate concepts into manufacturable designs. Maintain CAD data in PDM/PLM, managing revisions and documentation. Support prototype development and design reviews, incorporating feedback to refine designs. 🎯 Requirements Associate’s degree in Mechanical Design or related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of SolidWorks 3D modeling in engineering, manufacturing, or product development. Advanced SolidWorks part modeling, assemblies, and drawings. Machining, sheet metal fabrication, and large assembly knowledge for manufacturability. GD&T knowledge with ASME drawing standards. CAD data management using PDM/PLM (SolidWorks PDM, Windchill). CSWP or CSWA certification.
