📋 Description Shape underwater acoustics strategy and platform vision. Develop detection, classification, and localization for underwater objects. Create acoustic maps and characterize ambient soundscapes. Advise on sensing system design, deployment, data quality, and validation. Collaborate with ocean scientists, software, and firmware teams to translate research. Coordinate field experiments and simulations to evaluate performance. 🎯 Requirements Deep expertise in underwater acoustics. Experience with sensing systems/algorithms for detection, localization, mapping. Understanding of marine propagation, ambient noise, and signal processing. Experience with real-world acoustic datasets, field deployments, or operations. Experience applying statistical signal processing or ML/AI methods to acoustic tasks. PhD or equivalent with strong ocean acoustics reputation; enthusiasm for ML/LLMs. 🎁 Benefits Hybrid work arrangement; most time in office (70%+). Visa sponsorship available with immigration support.
