📋 Description Lead underwater acoustics strategy and technical vision for the platform. Develop capabilities to detect, classify, localize, and track acoustic sources. Drive AI/ML model development for edge and cloud acoustic intelligence. Advance methods for mapping ocean soundscape and propagation conditions. Provide acoustics-centric sensing design including hydrophones and calibration. Collaborate with ocean scientists and engineers to translate acoustics into products. 🎯 Requirements Deep expertise in underwater acoustics. Practical experience building acoustic sensing systems or algorithms for detection and localization. Strong understanding of marine acoustic propagation, ambient noise, and signal processing. Experience with real-world acoustic datasets and field deployments. PhD in acoustics or related field, or equivalent experience.
