📋 Description Design and deploy SLAM/state estimation for AIM autonomous machines. Architect multi-sensor fusion (LiDAR, IMU, GNSS, odometry) for real-time estimates. Advance mapping stack: point cloud registration, loop closure. Create automated calibration pipelines for multi-sensor rigs. Build production localization on edge hardware and map distribution tools. Collaborate with perception, planning, and controls to ensure robust estimates. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Robotics, EE, or related field. 5+ years building SLAM, state estimation, or localization systems. Strong math: 3D geometry, linear algebra, probabilistic robotics. EKF/UKF, Particle Filters; GTSAM, Ceres, g2o. Calibrate sensors: LiDAR/Camera/IMU multi-sensor pipelines. C++ (14/17+) and Python for tooling. LoAM, ICP/NDT, and large 3D point clouds. Experience coupling IMU with LiDAR/visual/GNSS.
