📋 Description Own the vision, planning, and execution of a new Defense HIL lab in Ann Arbor Build and lead a team of HIL engineers, defining roles and hiring Set HIL strategy across defense programs for aerial and maritime tests Partner with program leads and engineers to align HIL priorities with milestones Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-fidelity tests 🎯 Requirements Has 7+ years of experience, with 2–3 years in engineering leadership Proven ability to hire, mentor, and grow technical teams Deep familiarity with real-time hardware platforms (dSPACE/Speedgoat) Translate program requirements into a technical roadmap and lab plan Strong communicator to senior leadership and external defense customers Thrives in ambiguous, early-stage environments and builds structure
