📋 Description Senior Database Reliability Engineer role focusing on production databases. We run MySQL 8.4 on Google Cloud Platform’s CloudSQL, alongside Google Cloud Spanner for globally distributed workloads. Lead and own core database systems for performance, availability, and security Communicate data changes to the data warehousing team Collaborate on schema changes from design to deployment ensuring compatibility Build and maintain automated data pipelines and tests at scale with SRE/DevOps Identify weak areas and improve automated monitoring and alerts Document and automate recurring tasks
