📋 Description Lead initiatives within Elasticsearch to improve search relevance and speed. Design and implement new search features; fix bugs and optimise performance. Collaborate with a globally distributed team; drive technical direction. Own end-to-end delivery: design, code, review, and ship features. Be an expert on Elasticsearch search relevance; drive improvements. 🎯 Requirements Strong Java with core libraries, data structures, and concurrency. Deep expertise in Elasticsearch search relevance and vector search tech. Experience with distributed systems and data stores (Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra). Experience building scalable search algorithms (HNSW, IVF) in production. Ability to own design, implementation, reviews, and shipping of features.
