📋 Description Lead mechanical design and analysis for prototype systems, incl. mechanisms, actuation Lead manufacturing and build planning for prototype hardware Support deployment and fielding of prototype systems Support rapid prototyping from concept to detailed design Own the mechanical design, manufacturing, and deployment discipline within Special Programs Conduct technical feasibility assessments of new opportunities 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (advanced degree a plus) Experience in aerospace/defense mechanical design and analysis (mechanisms/packaging) Familiarity with manufacturing processes, DFM, and build/production planning Familiarity with launch/release/handling mechanism design and deployment logistics Ability to work across the full development lifecycle from concept to prototype Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance 🎁 Benefits Reasonable accommodations available for applicants Archer is an Equal Opportunity employer Merit-based hiring; no discrimination Diversity and inclusion commitment
