Overview 20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. An Amazon Delivery Service Partner operating in New Jersey is seeking a versatile Recruiting & Operations Assistant to support driver hiring, onboarding, fleet administration, and general back-office operations. The immediate priority is assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of delivery associates ahead of peak season. The Virtual Assistant will review applicants, communicate with candidates, conduct initial interviews, coordinate onboarding requirements, and maintain accurate records across Indeed, Amazon systems, ADP, and internal trackers. As hiring activity changes, this individual will also support fleet management and other administrative workflows. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly detail-oriented, technologically capable, and able to work across several responsibilities without requiring constant direction. The position will begin at 10 hours per week, with the expectation that hours may increase significantly during the final two months of the year and as the role develops. The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor. Scope of Services Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks: Driver Recruitment Review delivery associate applications submitted through Indeed Contact applicants by phone, text, and email Conduct initial candidate screening interviews in English Ask approved qualification and availability questions Schedule qualified candidates for next-step interviews Follow up consistently with candidates throughout the hiring process Maintain accurate notes regarding all candidate communication Driver Onboarding Assist qualified drivers through Amazon’s onboarding process Coordinate background checks, drug testing, training, and required documentation Track each candidate’s progress through the onboarding workflow Follow up on incomplete or outstanding requirements Update Amazon portals, ADP, and internal trackers accurately Ensure drivers do not advance until all required onboarding steps are completed Maintain complete records for Amazon audit and compliance purposes Fleet Management Support Assist with fleet records and administrative tracking Maintain vehicle-related spreadsheets, trackers, and documentation Follow up on required fleet information or outstanding action items Help monitor deadlines and recurring fleet management tasks Escalate missing information, compliance concerns, or discrepancies promptly Administrative Support Manage email correspondence through Outlook and Gmail Update Google Sheets, Excel files, and internal tracking systems Organize digital records and operational documentation Assist leadership with scheduling, follow-ups, and assigned projects Learn and support additional operational workflows as business needs evolve Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.
