📋 Description Verifies test requisitions with nursing station log. Verifies patient identity by reading ID. Obtains blood specimens via venipuncture and finger sticks. Maintains specimen integrity with aseptic technique. Tracks collection times and daily tallies. Resolves unusual orders by contacting physicians/labs. 🎯 Requirements 5+ years phlebotomy experience. BS/BA degree preferred. HS Diploma or equivalent required. Phlebotomy Certification if state requires. Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI privacy.
