Swing Technician – Blue Man Group North American Tour

📋 Description Learn and maintain backstage running tracks across departments to cover shows. Execute show cues, turnovers, and post-show resets safely and efficiently. Participate in daily maintenance and repairs to uphold standards. Assist department heads in troubleshooting show elements for smooth performance. Assist with load-ins/load-outs of scenic, lighting, video, audio, props, wardrobe. Support special events, rehearsals, and press performances as directed. 🎯 Requirements 2–3 years of professional experience in technical theatre, touring, or live entertainment. Knowledge of at least one discipline (carpentry, lighting, audio, video, props). Familiar with backstage operations, cue tracks, and live performance support. Comfortable with heights and using hand/power tools. Lift at least 50 lbs safely, climb ladders, and stand for long periods. Domestic travel for extended periods (Nov–Dec 2026) and US eligibility. 🎁 Benefits Full-time touring contract with benefits during active tour.
