📋 Description Lead a team of ~10 engineers on Data Connections at Amplitude. Own roadmap, reliability, and people growth for data pipelines. Oversee ingestion/export from Snowflake, Databricks, S3, etc. Work with AWS and GCP, with Kubernetes, Kafka, and more. Balance latency, scale, and security across dozens of sources. Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data Platform teams to ship end-to-end. 🎯 Requirements 2+ years leading engineers as a manager or tech lead. 6+ years building backend, data, or infrastructure systems. Experience with data integration/pipeline work—ETL/ELT at scale. Comfortable with cloud infra (Kubernetes, Kafka, S3 or similar). Track record improving reliability, latency, or cost in production.
