Engineering Manager (Subscriptions)

📋 Description Lead delivery of initiatives from concept to rollout with engineers and non-technical peers. Manage and coach engineers for personal and professional growth. Partner with Product Manager to create a roadmap for sustainable impact. Drive process improvements and autonomy to fix what's not working. Oversee technical decisions and strategy; this is a leadership, not coding, role. Improve reliability and scalability of Paddle’s high-traffic event-driven system. 🎯 Requirements Experience with Go or similar languages. Experience building or scaling subscription or recurring billing systems. At least 2 years of management experience with direct reports. Proven experience as a senior software engineer on complex, large-scale cloud-based systems. Strong and demonstrable understanding of high-performing, sustainable engineering teams.
