📋 Description Design solutions, architectures and RFCs for platform initiatives. Ship scalable, reliable, cost-efficient services. Plan large platform initiatives with Product and Engineering Directors. Shape architectural vision with fellow Principal Engineers. Set standards for operational excellence and incident response. Lead cross-team improvements from post-incident reviews. 🎯 Requirements Proven track record designing scalable, reliable cloud infra. Extensive production ops experience with on-call leadership. Senior IC in engineering leadership (Staff/Principal/Architect). Deep Kubernetes expertise: clusters, upgrades, RBAC, networking. IaC with Terraform and modern GitOps practices. Strong software foundations; Go preferred; NodeJS a plus. Observability, SLOs, alerting and cost management for large systems.
