📋 Description Build and maintain Modal's operating model aligned with KPIs Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning Develop reporting infrastructure for leadership and board Partner with founders on fundraising and investor relations Build finance team and systems; decide what to build/buy/outsource Oversee accounting operations, close, and reporting 🎯 Requirements 10+ years progressive finance experience; 3-5 years senior leadership at high-growth tech Proven experience building or scaling a finance function, including systems, processes, and team Deep FP&A and operating model expertise, with SaaS metrics Experience with venture fundraising and investor relations Strong ASC 606 revenue recognition knowledge Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally and influence decisions 🎁 Benefits Experience with usage-based pricing models Product-led growth (PLG) experience SQL proficiency and data work
